When I left North High School I went into the US Coast Guard for 4 years. Held various jobs, moved around the US (Calif., Fla.) Attended nursing school in Miami. Military
I went into the U.S. Coast Guard right out of High School. I spent four years on Lake Ontario doing Search & Rescue. The lakes are big, the winds are strong and the water is cold. Great experience!
